Incredible Drama Evening

What an incredible evening we had last night. Thank you to all those that were able to attend.

We finally got to experience Fiona Knowles in 'Women on the Verge of a T Junction'. Her acting skills were superb and the variety of characters in this one woman show, was superb.

The community came together to support the hall and enjoy the performance. and that they did!

I will update the post when I get the final figures, after invoices etc, but from the raffle and donations, we raised over £150, together.

We will put the money towards a new hoover and keep adding to the pot, so that we can replace the floor tiles. They have served the community for around 20 years! I think they need a rest and we will get some new, healthier models in.

It was wonderful to see so many faces and the interval was a joy, as everyone was talking and catching up, as well as meeting new people.

What a wonderful village and community we have.

It has been noted that a stage is needed, as those at the back struggled to see at points. We will look into this, be it buying, hiring or borrowing. We are happy for any suggestions and want to continue to work together to create a happy village and surrounding area.
